Take home a 6’ section of fresh evergreen garland- we’ll dress it up with beautiful fresh greenery, berries, twigs, bows, etc. All materials included!

Kid’s pumpkin planting Workshop

Come get your hands dirty with your kiddos! This is always a fun, hands-on workshop for kids of all ages. We encourage parents to join and provide a helping hand.

Fall gardening Workshop

Join us as we plant the bed in front of the store! We’ll go over our process for designing, preparing, and planting a garden bed, focusing on soil prep, choosing the right plant for the space, and keeping sustainability and maintenance in mind.

houseplant 101 workshop
Saturday June 28th, 9:30 am

Interested in houseplants but not sure where to start? Overwhelmed by soil types and pot sizes?
We’ll teach you everything you need to know to get started growing beautiful houseplants including basic plant care, repotting, and common plant issues. A green thumb CAN be learned!

pollinator gardening workshop

Meet us at the nursery for an educational and immersive workshop experience! Nikki will discuss nectar and host plants, best practices for pollinators, native plants, and send you home with 5 perennials to get your pollinator garden started!

Soil is the foundation of our garden, and its composition and health play a pivotal role in the success of the garden. This will be a hands-on workshop including a tour of our composting and vermiculture operation, presentation, and q&a by Josh and Maurice.

PLANT SWAP
Friday Feb. 28th, 5:30-7 pm

Join us after-hours for our Plant Swap! This is a time to share and trade plant cuttings and propagations, and to meet other folks who also love plants! Weather permitting, we will be set up in the nursery at the back of the store! Tables will be provided, but if you have a large quantity of plants you are welcome to bring your own table.
**This is a free event, registration not required. Tables provided.
dried floral wreath workshop
Join us for a few hours of fellowship and creativity! Nikki will guide you through the process of building and creating a dried floral wreath to bring some cheerful color into your home for the winter season.
Workshop fee is $85/person and includes grapevine wreath base, dried flowers, bow, and other tools/materials.

We’ll scoop out a pumpkin and plant it with seasonal color that will last through the fall! Parent’s are encouraged to join their little one for this workshop! Please note: this is a hands-on, mess-encouraged workshop :)
