Houseplant 101 Workshop

Think you may have a brown thumb? Scratching your head when it comes to plant care? Our Houseplant Workshop is for you! Lindsey will guide you through the essentials of houseplant care including lighting, watering, soil, and general maintenance so that you can care for your plants with confidence! No green thumb required- just come ready to learn!

Registration required. Workshop cost is $25 and includes a 10% off coupon valid for houseplants.

Pollinator Gardening Workshop - Saturday June 20th 10 am

Join us for an immersive learning experience at our Lizella Nursery (2997 Causey Road), surrounded by beautiful blooming perennials and buzzing pollinator activity. Nikki will share about the importance of pollinators in our local ecosystems, and how you can support pollinators in your home garden.

Workshop fee is $25 per participant.

The Magnolia Garden Club of Fort Valley, Georgia, is proud to host its fourth Flower Fantasy at the beautiful historic Pineola Farms. This year’s theme is Reduce, Repurpose, Recycle – Treating Our Environment Better. We are excited to be returning as a vendor this year, and Nikki and Josh will also be giving educational talks. A percentage of the funds raised through this event will support the Sensory and Wellness Garden at Massee Lane Gardens (a project we can’t wait to share details on soon!!).

spring plant swap

Friday, March 20th @ 5 pm

Perry Store- 1028 Macon Rd

Join us after-hours at the store for a plant swap! This is a free, low-key social event, registration is not required. Bring your propagations and plants to trade, swap, or sell. Weather-permitting we’ll be set up in the nursery at the back of the store, tables will be provided. Don’t have plants to swap and just trying to find some goodies? That’s cool too! Seeds, cuttings, divisions, houseplants, perennials… there are no rules.

We can’t wait to see what you bring!

Join us at the nursery- Nikki will walk you through her process for basic garden planning and preparation; focusing on soil, seed-starting, companion planting, and benefits.

dried floral wreath workshop

Saturday, Feb. 7th @ 9:30am

Join us for a few hours of fellowship and creativity! Nikki will guide you through the process of building and creating a dried floral wreath to bring some cheerful color into your home for the winter season.

Workshop fee is $90 per participant and includes 18” grapevine wreath base, dried flowers, ribbon, and other tools/materials.
