The wellness garden
at Massee Lane
The Wellness Garden is designed specifically to support individuals living with Alzheimer’s and dementia and their caregivers, while also providing a safe, welcoming environment for parents and children with autism and special needs. Both populations benefit from sensory-rich, safe, and calming environments that encourage exploration without overwhelming them. These shared spaces use nature to foster calm, improve cognitive function, and enhance emotional well-being.
Massee Lane Gardens is the botanical garden headquarters of the American Camellia Society, an International Garden of Excellence, and a Georgia Camellia Trail garden. We are so thrilled that the Wellness Garden will be a part of this beautiful property.
We broke ground in June, and our goal is for the Wellness Garden to be completed in January 2027. Follow along on our social media (@the_everyday_gardener) or subscribe to our email list to stay up to date on progress.

One of our desires as a family and a business has always been to participate in things that are bigger than us. This project found us and we could not be more excited to see it come to fruition. Thank you for following along!
